The Civil Guard has filed 3,180 proposals to punish people who have breached the conditions established in Decree 15/2020, of October 30, of the Generalitat Valenciana, which restricts the entry and exit of people in the territory of the Valencian Community. Of the total, 1,432 sanction proposals have been issued in the province of Alicante; 1,418, in Valencia and 330, in Castellón, This has been communicated through a press release.
Near 6,000 devices of the Armed Institute have mainly controlled the entry and exit roads to other autonomous communities, bordering the Valencian Community. The action of the Civil Guard has resulted in the control of 9,173 people in the three provinces of C. Valenciana and agents from the neighboring autonomous communities have also collaborated in the devices.
The Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Gloria Calero, highlighted the “work carried out by the Civil Guard to guarantee the health of the citizens” and “the professionalism” of the personnel when carrying out the perimeter closure mandated by the Valencian generalitat.
However, Calero recalled that the State Security Forces and Bodies will intensify their actions to develop the perimeter closure, after the announcement of new restrictions by the President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig. In fact, this Friday a coordination meeting was held at the Palau de la Generalitat in which the Consell, the Government Delegation and the FVMP agreed to reinforce the monitoring of compliance with the measures against Covid-19.
Decree 15/2020, of October 30, restricts the entry and exit of people from the territory of the Valencian Community except for those displacements, adequately justified, and that occurred for any of the reasons contemplated in the legal text. This This measure has been extended through Decrees 16/2020, of November 5, 17/2020, of November 12, and 18/2020, of November 19 and now modified by the new decree issued by the Generalitat Valenciana published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV).
The action of the Civil Guard in Alicante in recent weeks has been focused on intensifying surveillance on the A-31, a border road with the province of Albacete; as well as the A-7, that unites the Valencian Community with the Region of Murcia. In addition, in the last month and a half different devices have been established in the bordering secondary roads with the province of Albacete and the Region of Murcia.
In this sense, all patrols of the Companies of Torrevieja and Ibi, by limiting with the Autonomous Community of Murcia and Castilla La Mancha, have carried out sporadic checkpoints within the framework of their usual services. Each Company has established a specific group in each shift of several patrols that are exclusively dedicated to establishing devices on the bordering roads.
