“We are following an intensive pediatric vaccination strategy and the balance, as the data shows, is positive. it is vaccinating as many minors as possible without altering either their routine or the environment in which they operate daily, with total normality”, explains the Minister of Universal Health and Public Health, Ana Barceló.

In addition, continues Barceló, “it is very important that families continue to collaborate as they have done up to now and take advantage of the opportunity to vaccinate the smallest of the house, to protect them and their environment, because childhood vaccination helps reduce the circulation of the virus”.

New vaccination opportunities for infected or confined minors

Minors who cannot be vaccinated during the immunization campaign that is currently taking place in schools (because they are infected, in isolation or for any other reason) will have new opportunities for immunization. The Department of Health plans to enable a vaccination service in each health department where they will be able to receive their vaccine.
