2021 Fantasy Football TE Consistency Rankings – Find Potential Sleepers and Dips in Tight End Rankings

Every fantasy football owner strives for consistency, but it is still difficult to master. Winning big one week and narrowly losing the next isn’t generally the way a team positions itself to win a fantasy championship, so having reliable players giving you a number of benchmarks each week should be a pain. target. Anyone who has played fantasy football for a period of time knows how maddening it is to have, say, a tight end who scores more than 20 points one week and is up with three the next. The lack of profitable TEs beyond the top tier in the rankings makes it a difficult position to recruit for most owners.

You can’t control injuries or the weather, among other things, but you can control how much past (and projected) consistency takes into account in your player evaluations.

TO BigGuyFantasySports.comWe are dedicated to helping fantasy owners find greater consistency during the draft and throughout the season with our “Clutch Report” section. Based on their scoring format and the number of teams in their league, we calculate the “Clutch Factor” (CF) that a player must overcome each week to win a “Clutch Game”. For example, in the 12-team PPR formats, a runner needs more than 11 fantasy points in a week to win a “Clutch Game.”

PPR FANTASY 2021 RATINGS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker | Top 200

From there, a player’s “Clutch Rating” (CR) is determined. A CR of 70 percent or more means that a player is very consistent. Elite players will normally have a CR between 80-90 percent.

FANTASY STANDARD RATINGS 2021:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker | Top 200

The most consistent players aren’t always the top scorers, at least not in order of completion by total points, but the lack of performances of less than five points is arguably more valuable. Knowing this can help you on draft day. Here’s a sneak peek at my top 12 consistency-based rankings for TEs heading into the 2021 season.

FANTASY AUCTION VALUES 2021 (Standard and PPR):
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker | general

Rankings, Consistency Rankings of Fantasy TE 2021

4 TE1 B Mark Andrews BALL
5 TE1 B TJ Hockenson THE
6 TE1 B Kyle Pitts ATL

8 TE1 B Noah fantastic THE
9 TE1 B Logan thomas IT WAS
10 TE1 B Mike Gesicki ME

12 TE1 B Jared cook LACQUER

FANTASY 2021 CONSISTENCY RATINGS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | The wide receiver

A TE1A rating means that I expect that player to earn at least 70 percent of CR in 2021. You can probably guess who the three TEs currently at that level are: Travis Kelce, Darren Waller, and George Kittle. The remaining nine “TE1s” are classified as TE1B. Their CRs are expected to be between 55 and 70 percent. Obviously, higher-ranking tight ends like Mark Andrews and TJ Hockenson are expected to earn much more than 55 percent, but they probably won’t exceed 70 percent. Lower-ranking tight ends could exceed a 55 percent CR, but it’s less likely.

The big question for this year: Can Travis Kelce live up to his extremely high ADP? The answer is emphatically yes”. His consistency numbers last year placed him in the top three. wide receivers. So recruiting him in the first round is not scope. You can always select consistent and underrated receivers later to fill the gap.

Let’s take a look at a couple of these tight ends and see which of them are undervalued or overvalued based on current ADPs.

2021 FANTASY SLEEPERS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Each team

Undervalued: Robert Tonyan, Packers

Tonyan came out of nowhere to conquer the fantasy world. He’s ranked fourth in total points and seventh in consistency, and like Logan Thomas, he’s not getting the respect he deserves. His current ADP is TE13 in Round 12. I would like to easily draft Thomas and Tonyan in Rounds 7 and 12 and would be very happy with my tight end position.

Overrated: Hunter Henry, Patriots

There was a lot of excitement when the Patriots signed Jonnu Smith this offseason. However, that excitement was drastically reduced when the Patriots also signed Henry. Both are extremely talented, and while visions of Patriot TE’s double domination of years gone by dance in our heads, it’s still Cam Newton at quarterback, not Tom Brady. I’m out. Henry’s current ADP is much higher than my TE19 rating of him. It’s definitely a solid backup, but I’m not sure I can make it my TE1.

FANTASY LEVELS 2021 AND STRATEGY DRAFT:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST

Keeping consistency in mind in your draft day decisions can help you avoid the curse of being the highest-scoring team with a losing record. You have to make the playoffs to win a championship, and having a stable team is the best way to achieve both.
