The ADDA Symphony Orchestra has sealed an agreement with the record company Warner Classics to materialize the first of the three albums that is planned to be made in the years 2021, 2022 and 2023. Next January the recording of the songs selected for the new album will take place, in commemoration of the composer’s centenary Saint-Saëns, under the direction of Josep Vicent, principal conductor of the ADDA orchestra, and together with the international soloist Damián Martínez.

Josep Vicent has recognized that “working with one of the most important record companies in the sector and in collaboration with the cellist Damián Martínez is the consecration of ADDA Simfònica as an orchestra. It’s a prize and a wake-up call to the important moment we are living ”.

The stamp Warner Classics works exclusively with acclaimed artists such as Herbert von Karajan, Yehudi Menuhin, Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, Maria Callas, Martha Algerich, among others, and has consolidated an incomparable catalog of recordings by the most renowned musicians and orchestras in the world.

The repertoire of the first album will include the pieces Macabre Dance Op. 40, Andromaque Ascanio, R. 293: Final The goddesses, bacchantes, naiads and dríades, Cello Concerto, No. 1 in A minor, Spartacus Overture Romance and fa Op.36, The Swan from The Carnival of the Animals Y Macabre Dance Op. 40.
