One more month, here we are to tell you which are the devices and video games that we liked to analyze the most during April. They do not have to be the best in their segment, but rather the ones that, for one reason or another, we have most enjoyed analyzing.
We are going to start talking about the devices that we have liked the most in the ComputerHoy newsroom and then We will tell you what they have enjoyed the most in the writing from HobbyConsolas which, as you should already know, is our sister website for video games and entertainment.
It has been a month in which power has been the tonic among what we liked the most and be careful if you like rare consoles because HobbyConsolas have tasted… the “GameBoy with a crank”!
LITTLE F4 GT
And we start with the POCO F4 GT, a mobile that has just arrived and that is not the natural successor of last year’s POCO F3, but a terminal focused on the most gamer user.
It has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 that can take whatever you throw at itMIUI 13 has not given us any problems and the screen is a real joy to consume content.
However, what we liked the most is its triggers. They are retractable and can be programmed in any game to perform different actions, something that will give you an advantage on the pitch.
In addition, it has very clever things like well-placed stereo speakers and an L-shaped charging cable for us to play and charge without the cable bothering us. It costs 600 euros and is a candy to play.
MacStudio
And if we talk about power, the Mac Studio is more than enough. We have analyzed the version with the M1 Max and later we will test the one with the M1 Ultrabut what we have found is a beastly power in a design that, finally, satisfies the creators.
It has enough space for good dissipation and, in addition, it is a fairly quiet computer. It is made of aluminum, is minimalist and looks good on any desk.
However, what stands out is the raw power that allows us to edit heavy videos in Final Cut Pro without problemwhich flies thanks to very fast storage and, in addition, it has rear and front ports that make our lives easier.
It is very expensive, yes, and we believe that for its price it should have expansion options or HDMI 2.1 for next-generation screens, but in the end we loved it because it is that Mac that many of us wanted if we did not want to make the move to a Mac Pro.
Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra
If we continue with expensive things, we have to talk about the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra. They are 1,300 euros, yes, but it is a robot vacuum cleaner that you can completely forget about on a day-to-day basis.
It comes configured from the factory with very interesting options so that it is turned on and starts to clean the house in the best possible way, it is super efficient in vacuuming both dust and other debris and if you have animals you will love their rubber brushes.
They are the best so that pet hair does not get tangled up there, but the best thing is undoubtedly its intelligent navigation that, thanks to its sensors and RGB cameras, allow you to clean the house faster and, in addition, its self-emptying system.
The base is huge and when the robot returns to recharge, it automatically empties its tank of dirt. In addition, it has clean and dirty water tanks because it also scrubs.
This makes it a little worse, but well, in the end it is something that resists this type of device.
iPad Air 5
We are not going very far from the apple tree because another of those devices that we have loved is the iPad Air 5.
is the one has the M1 and you can already get an idea: it is very fast and has power to spareeven to edit video in apps like Luma Fusion. It is a joy to consume games, the screen looks great and, in addition, it has very good speakers.
One of the most useful things is its centered focus system that allows the camera to follow us or zoom in so that, in video calls, we are always in the center of the image.
What we didn’t like so much is that the storage remains scarce unless you spend a lot of money and that the system limits the enormous power of the M1.
Oppo Find X5
And, finally, we have another cell phone. It is not the most powerful of those we have tested and I consider it to be somewhat expensive, but the Oppo Find X5 is a joy on a day-to-day basis and has beastly cameras.
It mounts almost the same triple configuration as its brother, the Find X5 Pro, and stands out because it has an NPU called MariSilicon that makes a very good calculation of color, HDR and good processing in low light conditions.
It’s crazy how well the photos come out with this terminal and it’s one of those that invites you to go out to photograph anything with both the main one and the wide angle or telephoto.
In addition, in this white color it seems to me a beautiful mobile and the best thing is that the fingerprints are not left on it.

And if we move on to what you liked the most in the writing of HobbyConsolas, there are very, very interesting things, some for the whole family.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a dream come true for any fan of the George Lucas franchise.
It is a game that allows you to relive the events of the nine filmsparticipate in lightsaber duels, experience special battles and explore the galaxy with all the Star Wars characters.
In addition, graphically it is a delight thanks to a new engine with many flashy effects and has local co-op to play side by side on the couch. It’s a simple thing, but hey, you’ll be forgiven.

Another game that they have really enjoyed is, pay attention to the name, Chrono Cross The Radical Dreamers Edition. It is a remastering of the Square classic that is a tribute to the genre and a gift for lovers of the most classic JRGP.
It has a Spanish translation, something that we could not even dream of with the original, and the visual improvement is there. Although it is true that it has come out with the odd performance bug that subtracted some points, at the story level it is a real fantasy.
Another one of those great games that they have tried is Rogue Legacy 2. Alvaro Alonso has been giving this roguelite a hard time that already surprised us beautifully in the first installment and that, now, has elements that make it better than the original in all the senses.
It’s a real blast because it’s one of those games that doesn’t allow you to detach yourself from the console thanks to how addictive and fun it is. There is a lot of difference between classes, graphically and artistically it is crazy and you will always want to play one more life.
And as you know, our mates don’t just test games and this month’s featured hardware is Playdate.
It is a console that appeals to the first Game Boy and that is totally different from what you have seen so far. It is very focused on independent games and it will gradually receive them on the internet, but the most striking thing is the lever.
With this lever we can control some aspects of each game, something very original that, in addition, is fun and allows us to have a totally different experience from the one we can enjoy on other consoles.
It’s well built, it’s tiny, and the screen looks pretty good. It is true that it is a bit expensive, but it is a candy for any video game lover.
And my colleague Alberto Lloret has had a great time with the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 Max. It is the new generation of one of the most valued gaming headsets in the mid-range and that you will be able to use with Switch, PC, Xbox, PS5 and PS4 without problem.
He liked the design and, above all, the memory effect pads that are very comfortable if you have glasses. They sound good and connect via 2.4GHz USB to minimize latency.
Of course, they raise the price a little to 140 euros and we believe that, for that increase, they should have a 3.5mm jack or Bluetooth option, but hey.
