Argentina vs. Brazil Live Scores, Updates, CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifier Highlights

The confrontation between South American giants that we have been waiting for since the final of the Copa América arrived. Lionel Messi and Argentina will host high-flying Brazil in a World Cup qualifier, hoping to officially join Brazil in qualifying for Qatar 2022.

Both teams are undefeated, but Brazil is at the top of the South American standings with 11 wins from 12 games, helping them clinch a World Cup berth in October. Argentina is six points behind, but a home win against arch rival Brazil, and a combination of other results, could mathematically secure a ticket to Qatar.

Lionel Messi and Argentina are looking to extend their 26-match unbeaten streak in all matches, but Brazil will seek revenge for a loss to Albiceleste in the summer’s Copa América final on Brazilian soil. Either way, a loss in this rivalry will hurt both teams.
