British Prime Minister Boris Johnson married his fiancee Carrie Symonds in a secretly planned “little ceremony” at Westminster Cathedral in central London.

The wedding was held on Saturday afternoon, according to a Downing Street spokesperson.

The prime minister’s official residence added that the couple would once again celebrate their union with family and friends next summer.

Johnson is the first British president in nearly 200 years to marry while in office.
