Brandon Newman, Jaden Ivey set tone for Purdue


Purdue finally opens its Big Ten tournament against Penn State after earning the double bye to the quarterfinals.

The third-seeded Boilers have a surprise opponent in the No. 11 seed Nittany Lions, who upset Ohio State on Thursday night. Purdue has won 12 of the past 13 against Penn State and in the Big Ten tournament, the Boilermakers are 3-0 against the Nittany Lions.
