The Madrid 2021 Plena Inclusion Awards have recognized CGI in its eighth edition for its Corporate Social Responsibility policy and, specifically, its solidarity work to promote the employability and labor inclusion of people with IDD.
As part of its collaboration with Full Inclusion, CGI has been carrying out corporate volunteering actions and supports the design and development of technological solutions aimed at this group, as well as the launch of the “Sustainability Innovation Laboratory”.

Sustainability Innovation Laboratory
Through the “Laboratory of Innovation in Sustainability”, training was provided, in a first phase, to the Public Administration and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to provide them with knowledge and tools focused on the design of projects to improve employability in the environmental sector. of vulnerable groups.
After the presentation of the pilot projects, in a second phase those with the best socio-environmental impact were selected and their implementation was supported with the mentoring of CGI professionals to ensure their viability and success.

In this way, and through organizations such as the ALEPH-TEA and ASPIMIP associations, and the APASCOVI and ADEMO foundations, training courses were held on sustainability, environmental and waste management, benefiting around 30 people with IDD.
In collaboration with Plena Institución, CGI has also donated all the furniture from its old offices to ADEMO and its computer equipment to the NGO ProTDG, giving them a second life and at the same time contributing to the circular economy.
CGI Solidarity
In terms of volunteering, CGI has had CGI Solidarity since the end of 2021, a platform through which the company’s employees can contribute to different solidarity actions, such as supporting people with IDD in their training or professional development and management of digital workshops, among others.
Currently, through this platform, CGI volunteers are developing a pro bono project for Full Inclusion to help manage Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP).
