The bodies of five men were found this Tuesday inside a public service vehicle in the municipality of Juchitán, located in the Costa Chica region of the Mexican state of Guerrero, in the south of the country. According to police sources three of the bodies were decapitated and the remaining two were shot to death. Meanwhile, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) confirmed the discovery of the five bodies and opened an investigation folder for the homicide of the five people.
This Tuesday morning the State Police received notice of a vehicle with an undetermined number of bodies on a road in the town of Las Cuchillas, near the federal highway and in the afternoon the Prosecutor confirmed the number of victims. According to the notice, the five bodies were inside a white vehicle with blue stripes of the public service of the Marquelia-Acapulco route. After the proceedings, the bodies were transferred to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).
The Government of Guerrero recently announced the reinforcement of security to guarantee the stay of people who visit tourist sites in the state. On March 31, six heads and the remains of human bodies were found in a vehicle on the main avenue of the municipality of Chilapa, Guerrero. According to police reports, the six heads were placed on the roof of the car, while inside there were bags with human remains, presumably corresponding to the people who were decapitated.
