Do you know what are the infractions that deduct points on your driving license?

Driving without points is punishable by a prison sentence of 3 to 6 months or a fine of 12 to 24 months.

YE

Surely on many occasions you wonder what your points balance is on your driving license. There are many infractions with which you remain. Currently, all drivers have a points-based driving license that has an initial balance of 8 points, which they give us as soon as we pass the driving test. If, during the following three years, they remain intact, they will become 12, that is, the maximum they had before this new system. But if in the following three years we continue without infractions, again they give us more points, 2 this time (the balance will reach 14). The
last point (15) is awarded to the following 3 years if, again, we continue without committing any infraction.

AND
if you end up with all the points you will have to wait two years. That is the time that must pass with the new reform of the Traffic Law before a sanctioned driver can recover the initial balance. In fact, two years will have to pass without being penalized for a new infringement that entails the loss of points, when, at present, this period varies depending on the seriousness of the infringement that has been committed.

However, it should be noted that
you cannot lose more than 8 points in the same dayaccording to the National Confederation of Driving Schools
CNAE, unless among the infractions that you commit there is one or more very serious. Which are? You guessed it: all the ones that deduct 6 points, except the tachograph manipulation. And keep in mind that some of the speeding violations are also very serious; however, there are others that, although 6 points remain, are only serious.
