The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has made dozens of trips in the company of a cancer specialist, Yevgeny Selivanov, according to a report by the Russian investigative news outlet Projectwhich also states that the president bathes with a deer antler formula to improve his health.

Independent Proekt editors point to Putin’s increasingly frequent trips to the tourist city of Sochi, always in the company of doctors from the Moscow Central Clinical Hospital.

Among the most common medical assistants of the Russian president is oncologist and surgeon Evgeny Selivanov, who has visited Putin 35 times and spent a total of 166 days in his company between 2016 and 2020.

Nor has he separated from two otorhinolaryngologists, ear, nose and throat specialistswhich, according to Proekt, are usually the first to diagnose thyroid disease and cancer.
