Cáceres clings to Multiusos to try to get their mathematical classification for the playoffs as soon as possible. After losing last day in the fiefdom of Castellón, a meeting in which the Extremadurans offered two different versions, Roberto Blanco’s team will have this Friday before their public (8:45 p.m.) the opportunity to make up for it at the expense of an Almansa that reaches land Extremadura with the intention of certifying a permanence that is a stone’s throw away.

With four games to play, Cáceres still has a cushion of two games with respect to the court area, so a new victory for the Verdinegro team would exponentially increase the classification options in the final sprint. The Albacete team, meanwhile, has just lost at home against Palma. Rubén Perelló’s men are two wins above the relegation zone.

In the opinion of the Cáceres coach, the black-and-green players will face the challenge with a double motivational cup. Although the fact of being able to dispute the second phase is already an incentive, the locals also appeal to their group pride, especially after the unmitigated defeat suffered in Almansa in the first round: «They completely swept us off the track and we had no glimpse to stick out the head. That is in the retina of the players, “admits Roberto Blanco.

Regarding his rival, the Cáceres coach is suspicious of his opponent’s physical and scoring potential: “It’s a very complicated rival. Although he has had many ups and downs in his game, he has quality players who are physically at a very high level. It is a very versatile team, with good scorers and with many possibilities in their game. The black-and-green coach explains that his work group will have to be very attentive to counteract that point of anarchy that Almansa usually presents in attack.

Roberto Blanco assures that his team faces this final stretch of the regular league “with enthusiasm, without pressure and with the desire to continue working”. In the same way, he says he has worked on the field the mistakes that Cáceres made last Friday in Castellón: «We have been a time in which the team feels much more comfortable and the players understand better what is needed from each one. That has to help us to continue growing in these last four games.” Mateo Díaz and Duje Dukan, both touched, will be able to play.

Faced with a rival that is still awaiting the status of one of its members due to fever, the Cáceres coach is confident that the black-and-green fans will step forward: “I hope our fans come. It is vital for us.” Each subscriber has had more than a week to withdraw two invitations for companions.
