DraftKings NBA DFS Picks for Opening Night: Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Tips for Nets-Bucks, Warriors-Lakers

The 2021-22 NBA season kicks off Tuesday night, and what better way to welcome stars like Kevin Durant, James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Steph Curry, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis than by trying to win. some cash from DFS. An opening night of the DraftKings contest? The opening night two-game undercard features Nets vs. Bucks and Warriors vs. Lakers, and as mentioned above, there are plenty of cleats and sleepers in action to fill your daily fantasy basketball lineups with.

Below you will find lineup selections for the main roster. The beginning of the season offers some valuable opportunities if we can identify players with roles that are more confident than DK prices suggest, and we’ve definitely found a few.

DraftKings Opening Night NBA DFS Picks: Daily Tips on Fantasy Basketball Lineup

PG: James Harden, Nets vs. Bucks ($ 9,300). Stephen Curry, being more expensive than Harden, made this an easy decision. Although Curry could explode for more than 30 points, I like the value game of saving some money with Harden, who will fill in the stat sheet more evenly across the board.

SG: Jordan Poole, Warriors vs. Lakers ($ 4,800). Poole was a jewel for the Warriors in the preseason, averaging 21.8 points and 3.2 triples per game. He’ll take on the role of starting guard at Golden State until Klay Thompson returns later this season, which means he’ll get a starting-caliber player for a great value of just $ 4,800.

SF: LeBron James, Lakers vs. Warriors ($ 9,000). Not much explanation is needed here. James is $ 900 cheaper than Durant, which means you get similar value while saving money for a better player elsewhere in your lineup. Scroll down one more spot and you’ll be glad you saved some cash on Harden and James over Curry and Durant.

FP: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks vs. Networks ($ 10,000). Yes, that is correct. The opening night lineup may have Harden, James and Antetokounmpo. If the current Finals MVP is anything like what he did during the Bucks’ postseason, he’s in for a monster night to start the season.

C: Dwight Howard, Lakers vs. Warriors ($ 4,900). Howard is expected to come off the bench for the Lakers, but I anticipate he plays more minutes than DeAndre Jordan. It’s a good value play that will count rebounds and, if you’re lucky, some blocks.

G: Patty Mills, Nets vs. Bucks ($ 3,700). With Kyrie Irving out of the game, Mills will take over most of his minutes. If the preseason is any indication, then Mills won’t be the starter, but he will play a key role off the bench as a microwave scorer and playmaker, knocking down 3-pointers and dishing out assists.

F: Bruce Brown, Nets vs. Bucks ($ 3,600). Speaking of filling Irving’s role in the starting lineup, it looks like he’s going to Brown. Getting a buy-in for just $ 3,600 is great value and Brown does all the little things to help the Nets succeed. It may not score much, but it will help with the boards and defensive counting stats.

UTIL: Pat Connaughton, Bucks vs. Nets ($ 4,700). Whether Connaughton will fill Donte DiVincenzo’s place in the starting lineup remains to be seen, but even if he comes off the bench, he’ll be in line for some high-quality minutes. With key backup Bobby Portis also out, Connaughton should be a strong source of 3s and rebounds.
