Eurovision 2022: semi-final and final dates, times and how you can watch it


This is the week of Eurovision 2022, and we are going to tell you all the information so you can see the great musical event, one of the most important in Europe. It is an event in which 40 countries are going to participate, most of them European, although there are also some from outside Europe, such as Australia. Of all the songs, only one can win, and the country that wins will be in charge of organizing it next year.

This year, the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be held between Tuesday May 12 and Sunday May 14 at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy. In this article, we will tell you how are you going to be able to see the semi-finals and the final of the festivalas well as the schedules and participants of the semifinals.

Where to watch Eurovision 2022

We are going to start by telling you where you will be able to see Eurovision 2022. As usual, you will be able to see the entire festival with its semifinals and its final through La 1 on TVE. The public entity will be in charge of broadcasting all the galas for free and openly. This year everything is going to be broadcast on La 1, both the semifinals and the final.

Besides, You can also watch the festival online and from your mobile through the RTVE.es website and the RTVE Play application, available for smart TVs and for Android on Google Play and for iPhone on the App Store.

Schedules and participants of the first semifinal

The first Eurovision semi-final will take place on Tuesday, May 10and the event will start at 9:00 p.m. Spanish peninsular time. Remember that it is a long event, since the performances will be held first, then the lines to vote will be opened, and the votes will be said until knowing who is classified.

A total of 17 countries will participate in this semifinal. These countries are also the ones that will vote, along with Italy and France, which will also vote. These are the participants of the first semi-final, in the order in which they will perform:

Schedules and participants of the second semifinal

The second semifinal of Eurovision will take place on Thursday, May 12and the event will start at 9:00 p.m. Spanish peninsular time. As we told you at the beginning, both the first and second semi-finals will be broadcast free of charge by RTVE through La 1, its website and its mobile applications.

The final of Eurovision 2022 will take place on Saturday May 14, and will start at 9:00 p.m. In this final, they will participate the five countries that go directly to the final plus those who qualify for the semifinals.
