FanDuel Picks Week 4: NFL DFS Lineup Tips for Daily Fantasy Football GPP Tournaments

The Chiefs heading into Week 4 with a 1-2 record is one of the biggest upsets of the young season thus far. A trip to Philadelphia for a date with the Eagles seems like it could be the elixir they need to get back on the winning track, and what you need to boost your NFL DFS funding. We bet that’s the case and build this FanDuel tournament lineup around a Patrick Mahomes / Travis Kelce stack, plus a “pair” of Panthers.

Before we get into this week’s fantasy football daily picks, here are the basic rules for FanDuel contests. The punctuation is pretty standard, and the only notable settings are Four-point pass TD and Semi point PPR.

FanDuel Picks Week 4: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments

Sunday main board, $ 60,000 budget, no more than four players on one team

QB Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs @ Eagles ($ 8,700). It’s hard to imagine the Chiefs losing three games in a row. Mahomes has been guilty of some self-inflicted wounds, but it’s a good bet to clean them up and get the offense humming again in the City of Brotherly Love. Few quarterbacks have such a high ceiling in any given week.

RB Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. Giants ($ 9,000). Kamara is leading the Saints in touches by a wide margin, and while he hasn’t been particularly efficient, there’s reason to expect him to change with friendlier matchups and game scripts.

WEEK 4 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | Yahoo!

RB Antonio Gibson, Washington @ Falcons ($ 7,100). Gibson showed his ability to hit home runs last week and has handled 37.5 percent of the football team’s touches this season. It’s easy to bet on Gibson at his price and in a matchup that he opened with a respectable 48.5 total.

WR Marquise Brown, Ravens @ Broncos ($ 6,400). We can’t include Brown in this place without mentioning the three big falls he committed last week. Maybe he had trouble preparing for a trip to Detroit after two dramatic primetime games. No competitor likes to leave meat on the bone, so we bet he’ll be itching to bounce back this week. It’s also important to remember that you were open for at least three big plays, so you’re still getting into position for big points.

WR Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers @ Seahaawks ($ 5,700). Aiyuk was finally taken out for a spin last week. The field may still be cautious, but it’s a great play waiting for it to happen and he will be busy in the paint all season. Chances are high that your price is now the lowest we’ll see for the rest of the season, so take advantage of this very favorable showdown.

WR Kadarius Toney, Giants @ Saints ($ 4,900). Toney’s inclusion in our lineup is as much about his price as it is about his potential opportunity. Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton left Sunday’s competition with hamstring injuries, and Kenny Golladay has been healing ailments since camp. Toney has been invisible for fantasy purposes, but he was on the field a lot more this past week and may have no choice but to be involved against the Saints.

Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

TE Travis Kelce, Chiefs @ Eagles ($ 8,200). This could certainly be a Tyreek Hill game, but we’re working with Kelce on this one. He is tied for the team lead with 26 goals and has eclipsed 20 FanDuel points two of three times so far this season.

FLEX (RB) Chuba Hubbard, Panthers @ Cowboys ($ 6,300). Welcome to Chalk City with this selection, but “chalk” is not a bad word. Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) will be out for several weeks. We saw that this same coaching staff at Carolina put Mike Davis in a very important role in the wake of a CMC injury last week. Hubbard had 16 chances (11 carries, five goals) in relief last Thursday and has a ticket to a significant increase in volume.

Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

DEF Carolina Panthers @ Cowboys ($ 3,700). The Cowboys on the road aren’t the friendliest matchup, but the Panthers have a high-quality defense anchored on a fierce front. Talent pays off sometimes, especially when the price is so good.
