Fantasy Injury Updates: Latest news on Dalvin Cook, Darrell Henderson, D’Andre Swift affecting Week 3 login decisions

Fantasy Football owners have already received bad news about RB’s injuries this week, as Christian McCaffrey exited his Week 3 game early due to a hamstring injury. But we can’t worry about that now, we have to wait for Sunday’s action. Unfortunately, Josh Jacobs (toe, ankle) and Elijah Mitchell (shoulder) are “iffy” and worse, Dalvin Cook, Darrell Henderson and D’Andre Swift have feared “questionable” labels. Henderson looks more doubtful and Swift feels more likely, but Cook is the real game-time decision everyone will be watching. While you wait to see if Cook is playing, we will update this article with the latest news, you can get your Week 3 fantasy to begin, make decisions with confidence.

Will Dalvin Cook play week 3?

Cook (ankle) was kept out of practice all week, but Vikings coach Mike Zimmer made comments earlier in the week that made it look like Cook would not only play the Seahawks, but see a normal workload as well.

With Cook playing a late-afternoon game, fantasy owners will have even fewer options for a backup if he’s idle. If possible, move Cook to his flexible position and have a RB or WR from one of the latest games or primetime games ready to go. Alexander Mattison would start and see most of the carries for Minnesota if Cook can’t go, making him a solid RB2 / flex play in all formats.

WEEK 3 STANDARD RATINGS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

Will Darrell Henderson play Week 3?

Henderson (ribs) I do not practice this week, and we’re not optimistic about his chances of playing the Bucs despite his “questionable” designation. The main reason for concern is that LA activated practice team RB Buddy Howell on Saturday afternoon.

Even if Henderson is active, it’s an extremely risky start against the defense of Tampa’s first two races. Keep it in your bank even if it is active. If Henderson is out, Sony Michel will start and see most of the carries, but it’s just a volume-based flex in standard leagues.

Will D’Andre Swift play week 3?

Swift (groin) is once again officially “questionable, “and once again he is expected to put on the suit.

Baltimore has been better against the run than the pass this season, but considering that Swift does so much damage in the receiving game, particularly during garbage time, he’s still up for grabs as RB2 in the standard and PPR leagues. If Swift is a surprise scratch, Jamaal Williams would see close to 20 touches and would be a solid RB2 across all formats.
