Arrowhead Events announced Tuesday that George Strait, the “King of Country” and three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, will visit GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for a one-night-only concert event on Saturday, July 30. The trip is his first return to the venue since 2001. He has sold nearly 70 million albums and earned more than 60 major entertainment industry awards, including induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006. This concert is Straight’s fourth time performing at the venue and the 54th concert held at Arrowhead since it opened. “George Strait has a history of great performances at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him back for the first time since 2001 this summer.
