He lives for a month with the corpse of a friend he stabbed to death

This scene was encountered by agents of the Homicide and Scientific Group of the National Police, who, with the help of the judicial investigation, are trying to clarify what happened in that house in the Malaga neighborhood of Campanillas.

The person who opened the door for them has just been arrested for the murder. She is accused of killing the other man, a friend whom she took in at home. After that, he would have lived with the body for about a month, as SUR has learned.

It is still unknown with certainty when the events occurred, although the data is initially around the white week, that is, the end of February or the beginning of March. The suspect (51 years old) declared yesterday before the judge that he found out that his friend (49) had nowhere to go and gave him a roof over his head. They were both drug addicts.

According to what he stated, they argued because he accused his friend of having stolen some drug-related belongings that he had in his home for his own consumption. The man would have alleged that his guest took it badly and that, when he was lying down, she pounced on him with a knife.

Supposedly, he wounded him in one hand and also in the chest, two injuries that the Scientific Police and forensic agents will study to confirm or not his version and also to approach the date of death with greater certainty, since the autopsy only It provides an approximate date taking into account the deterioration of the corpse.

Following his version of events, the now investigated would have snatched the knife from his friend and allegedly stabbed him up to four times in the chest, which caused his death. Although he does not retain the details clearly, he did remember that he picked up a knife and that “anger” came over him. He argued before the judge that he acted in self-defense and was very sorry for the outcome.

Upon verifying that he was dead, he closed the room – where the local police found him this Saturday – and tried to make life in the rest of the building, without entering the room at any time and sleeping on the sofa in the living room, according to sources close to him. to the case. As if the corpse did not exist and as if that had not happened.

The lawyer Juan Baldomero Espejo, who represents the accused, requested his release taking into account his version of the events, according to which he would have acted in self-defense, and the absence, in his opinion, of a flight risk. The Prosecutor’s Office rejected these arguments, alluding to the seriousness of the crime and requested his imprisonment.

The head of the Court of Instruction number 13 of Malaga, yesterday on duty, ordered his entry into prison, communicated and without bail, investigated for a possible crime of homicide.
