For its part, the Provincial Council answered these accusations and said that has not made any vaccination list and that it was Doctor Esquerdo’s chief physician who made the list with all the center’s workers at the request of Public Health.

The Department detected 233 cases that could be analyzed for skipping the vaccination queue. Of the total, 171 are justified by belonging to the following group or to different risk groups. The 62 remaining cases are those that have been investigated in more detail to clarify responsibilities. The councilor ordered both the General Directorate of Human Resources and Public Health to open information files to find out if any professional from this Ministry had committed any irregularity and also to find out if irregular vaccinations had occurred. From the General Directorate of Human Resources, which concerns the staff of the Department, there are nine information files open to workers who were responsible for supplying those doses.

This was denounced by the head of the area, recalling that the Doctor Esquerdo center depends on the provincial institution and insisting that the file be filed by Human Resources because the Ministry has not breached the protocol.

The councilor also appointed the mayors of El Verger and Els Pobles, Ximo Coll and Carolina Vives, married couple and both from the PSOE, who were vaccinated together on the 8th; to the socialist mayor of Dénia, Cristina Morera, and some of their relatives; Jose Galiano, councilor of the PP of Orihuela; the chief prosecutor of Castellón, Jose Luis Cuesta Merino; Luis rubio, mayor of Villahermosa del Río; Francisco Lopez, mayor of Rafelbunyol; Y Angel Ribés, mayor of Benlloch.

The vaccinated charges will receive the second dose

Regarding the supply or not of the second dose of the vaccine to these people, the Health Minister explained that finally they will be immunized and he recalled that he ordered that it not be provided until a final decision is made. However, the Community Bioethics Committee has transferred its first conclusions to its department in which it indicates that “the administration of this second dose to these people should be considered only after the vaccination of the groups included in the strategy has been completed. vaccination. The recommendation is, in any case, to vaccinate 6 weeks after the first dose, which, according to the Committee’s report, is the maximum term set by the WHO for the second dose of Pfizer».

On the other hand, Barceló highlighted that irregular vaccinations account for only 0.046% of the total of the 149,000 doses that have already been applied: «They do not in any way cloud a vaccination process that is taking place with the most absolute normality, but it is the responsibility The Administration will give transparency to this process and establish responsibilities when the open proceedings are finished, both by Human Resources and by Public Health, “he said.
