The brand Honor today announced the launch of its new devices Magic Vs, a folding team, and the Honor 80 which is integrated into the N-series range, well known for its advantages in video and photography.
Thin and light, the Magic Vs is 12.9mm thick when folded and weighs 261g, making it the lightest foldable in the industry by far. Inside this chassis is a 5,000mAh battery, which guarantees its use throughout the day. It brings a seamless and symmetrical design, with a sophisticated hinge system, achieving a gap-free fold and indentation-free screen when unfolded.
One of the keys to the product is its ultralight gearless hinge, made with the new one-piece casting processing technology, which reduces the number of components of its supporting structure from 92 to 4. The construction with materials of aerospace quality, supports more than 400,000 folds, the equivalent of more than ten years of use with 100 folds per day.
It has a screen 6.45 inches with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90%. When unfolded, the device offers a tablet-like experience with an extra-wide internal screen of 7.9 inches. It is compatible with a 100% DCI-P3 gamut and offers up to 1.07 billion colors, which allows you to enjoy images with true colors. With a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, viewers are guaranteed an immersive experience. Both displays are equipped with 1920Hz PWM technology to reduce screen flicker.
The new foldable offers professional solutions for eye comfort thanks to Dynamic Dimming, which intelligently and dynamically adjusts brightness to reduce eye fatigue. Its Circadian Night Screen minimizes the negative effects of blue light and helps users improve sleep quality.
Other outstanding features
It has a triple camera system that includes a 54 MP IMX800 main lens, a 50 MP ultra-wide macro and an 8 MP 3X optical zoom camera. Thanks to the patented image engine with AI, the Magic Vs has optimal computational photography capabilities.
Equipped with processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, offers improved GPU and CPU performance with greater power efficiency. The device is available in a version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage.
Honor 80, for ‘vlogging’ enthusiasts
The device integrates the AI Vlog Master function, which helps identify shooting scenarios accurately and recommends the most suitable mode, such as Macro, Night, Portrait, Solo Cut, Multi-Video and HDR Video. Equipped with the Image Engine, the 80 series improves image processing and adjusts it to different lighting conditions.
It has a main chamber of 160MP ultra sharpwhich features a 1/1.56-inch sensor with a 2.24µm native pixel that captures more light, delivering high-quality photos with good detail, even in low-light conditions.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, with a 4,800mAh battery, and runs the latest version of MagicOS 7.0.
Magic Vs will be available in the new Orange, Cyan and Black colors starting November 23 for purchase at the brand’s store in China for 1,015 euros. Honor 80 will be available in four color combinations, Ripple Blue, Sunrise Pink, Emerald Green and Midnight Black, at select retailers, including HiHonor China, starting November 23 for €365.
