How to watch Felix Auger-Aliassime at the 2022 Laver Cup: Dates, times, schedule for the Canadian tennis star


Canadian tennis fans have gotten to witness the rise of star Felix Auger-Aliassime and now, those fans will be treated with watching him play at the 2022 Laver Cup. 

Auger-Aliassime was selected as one of the members of Team World for the tournament. It is the fifth edition of the event and second time the Montreal native is playing at the event. He previously participated in 2021, losing in a singles match against Matteo Berrettini. 

It’s an opportunity for Auger-Aliassime to play alongside and against some of the biggest names in the sport of tennis. Opposing the 22-year-old and Team World is a Team Europe that consists of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. 

“I think it’s special for me, personally, a young player coming up, to be up against these four legendary players,” Auger-Aliassime said ahead of the competition.

The action gets under way on Friday, Sept. 23, with Auger-Aliassime sitting on the sidelines to start. Here is everything you need to know about the 2022 Laver Cup and how to watch the Canadian tennis star. 

Laver Cup 2022 schedule

The Laver Cup 2022 takes place at the O2 Arena, London, England. The action starts at 8 a.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24, with night sessions on both of those days starting at 2 p.m. There is no night session on the final day, which starts at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25.

Auger-Aliassime is not scheduled to play on the first day.

For Canadian tennis fans, the Laver Cup is available to watch on TSN or for the French-speaking audience, RDS. 

Fans can either watch live on TSN5 or RDS, or have the ability to stream the action on TSN.ca or in the TSN app. 

Who is playing at the 2022 Laver Cup?

Bjorn Borg is the captain of Team Europe 2022, with Thomas Enqvist as vice-captain. John McEnroe is captaining Team World 2022; Patrick McEnroe is his deputy.

Team Europe: Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Casper Ruud, Matteo Berrettini (alternate)
