Jennifer Grey’s romance with Johnny Depp has been back in the news thanks to his defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard – and people want to know more about her dating history.
the Dirty Dancing star is thought to be currently single after announcing in 2020 that she was getting divorced from Marvel star Clark Gregg.

Clark Gregg
Jennifer and Clark, best known for playing Agent Phil Coulson in the MCUannounced in 2020 that they were divorcing after 19 years of marriage.
The former couple, who share 20-year-old actress daughter Stella Gregg, announced their split with identical statements on Instagram.

They both wrote: “After 19 years together, we separated in January, knowing we’d always be a family who loves, values and cares for each other.
“We recently made the difficult decision to divorce, but we remain close and are deeply grateful for the life we’ve shared and the wonderful daughter we’ve raised. – Jennifer and Clark
“PS Totally crying as we post this.”
Jennifer and Clark married in July 2001, welcoming their daughter in December that year.
In 2006, they starred alongside each other in the Lifetime movie Road to Christmas.
Their divorce was finalized in February 2021.
George Stephanopoulos
Jennifer began a short-lived romance with George in 1992.
He’s a political pundit who worked as Bill Clinton’s director of communications during his presidency.
He went on to marry comedian and actress Ali Wentworth in 2001.
William Baldwin
Jennifer was rumored to be dating William Baldwin – one of the Baldwin brothers – in 1991.
He later married singer Chyna Phillips in 1995.
Johnny Depp
Jennifer and Johnny started dating in 1989 after being set up on a blind date by her agent.
Recalling their first date in her memoir, she wrote: “We ate, talked, drank Jack Daniel’s, laughed our asses off, took cigarette breaks midcourse. He was so ridiculously beautiful. And surprisingly open, funny, quirky, and sweet.”
They got engaged just two weeks after meeting and moved in together and got a Pekinese-poodle puppy called Lulu together, describing her as their “practise baby”.
Jennifer claimed that Johnny became “crazy jealous and paranoid about what I’d been up to while he was gone”.
They broke up just nine months after getting engaged, with Jennifer ending things just before her 29th birthday by leaving a note in his hotel room.
Johnny has since dated a string of famous women, including Winona Ryder, Kate Moss and Vanessa Paradis.
He had married and divorced Lori Allison before his relationship with Jennifer, and went on to marry Heard in 2015, divorcing two years later.
Matthew Broderick
Jennifer and Matthew secretly began dating while filming Ferris Bueller’s Day Off together.
The film was released in 1986, and the following year, the couple were involved in a devastating car crash in Northern Ireland.
While promoting her new memoir out of the corner recently, she spoke about the terrible events.
She told ET: “The car accident in Ireland was, I would say, top three traumas of my life, maybe top one.
“It’s very hard to describe when you have a near-death experience and are present for the death of other people.
“Being alone on a country road in the middle of nowhere with nobody else around or conscious was pretty terrifying… It led to so many other things in my life.”
A woman named Margaret Doherty, 63, and her daughter Anna Gallagher, 28, were both killed after the rented BMW Matthew was driving crossed the center line and hit their car.
Matthew and Jennifer had gotten engaged while filming Ferris Bueller but broke up not long after the accident, in 1988.
He later married Sarah Jessica Parker in 1997.
Michael J Fox
Jennifer dated Back to the Future star Michael between January and May 1986.
They were both rising stars in Hollywood at the time.
He went on to marry Tracy Pollan in 1988.
Timothy Hutton
Jennifer and actor Timothy were first spotted together at a premiere party for The Tempest in 1982 and were seen again a few days later at an after party following an Elton John concert.
Their romance is said to have lasted just one month, from August to September that year.
Timothy married Debra Winger in 1986, before divorcing in 1990.
He remarried in 2000 with Aurore Giscard d’Estaing, but they separated in 2009.
