JoJo Siwa slams ‘SYTYCD’ critic amid Matthew Morrison’s abrupt exit

Hold the drama.

JoJo Siwa epically clapped back at a troll on Twitter who attempted to criticize her for not having the proper skills to judge “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Dammit. I saw the headline ‘Judge Leaves #sytycd’ and got all excited. And it is! @itsjojosiwa was out! But, nope. It was Matthew Morrison,” the critic wrote, referring to the actor’s abrupt exit from the dance competition series.

Dammit! I thought he brought the broadway perspective to the show. Maybe not an expert on dance, but on showmanship. He still wo n’t watch.

Siwa, 19, retweeted the message on Tuesday, adding, “literally why tweet this?”

The professional dancer then proceeded to lay out some of her many career highlights: “18 Years of Dance Knowledge, 4 Major dance TV shows, I’ve hired over 1000 dancers, 16 Dance music videos.”

She added, “If you don’t like me that’s okay… but if you think I don’t know about dance anymore just sound silly.”

Siwa – who has been dancing and singing since she was a toddler – rose to fame after appearing on “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition” and “Dance Moms” alongside her mother, Jessalynn.

“When my husband would come pick her up at the [dance] studio, she would not want to leave at night,” the proud mom told Rolling Stone in June 2019. “She was 2 years old.”

Since then, the multi-talented entertainer has acquired millions of followers on social media, starred on Nickelodeon, mentored a team of dancers on “Siwa’s Dance Pop Revolution” and toured the world, just to name a few of her impressive accomplishments.

Siwa was then selected to judge “SYTYCD” alongside Morrison and Stephen “tWitch’” Boss, with Cat Deeley returning as host, for its 17th season.

The show has been making headlines ever since Morrison, 43, confirmed he was leaving after not following “competition production protocols.”

“Having the opportunity to be a judge on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ was an incredible honor for me. Therefore, it is my deepest regret to inform you that I will be leaving the show,” the “Glee” alum told Us Weekly in a statement on May 27.

“After filming the audition rounds for the show and completing the selection of the 12 finalists, I did not follow competition production protocols, preventing me from being able to judge the competition fairly. I cannot apologize enough to all involved and I will be watching alongside you all on what I know will be one of the best seasons yet.”

Further details have yet to be revealed, though a source told the outlet “it was a minor infraction that caused Morrison to depart the series.” Page Six has reached out to Morrison and Fox for comment.

“So You Think You Can Dance” airs Wednesdays at 9 pm ET/PT on Fox.
