La vie en rose: pink shades for pretty eyes | Beauty

Years ago, if someone had mentioned the words “conjunctivitis,” they would have immediately linked it to a case of conjunctivitis. But not now. In terms of makeup, pink eye is literally that: pink eyeshadow. Less intimidating than blues and greens, more exciting than standard brown. Ah, but let’s not rule out browns entirely. If a solid pink eye feels too childish and classy for you, just add a touch of bronze or brown on top of your eyelid. The result is something infinitely more subtle.

I can’t do without… An anti-blemish range that works for adults and teens

There is an analogy that reflects my relationship with Vichy. It’s like living next to a lovely boy who you never paid much attention to because he was, you know, there. Instead, you go through bad relationships convincing yourself that they are all good ideas. Finally, you realize that the right one had been right under your nose the whole time. Vichy’s packaging isn’t fancy, it’s not ‘hot’ and, yes, their names can be tricky, but none of that matters because their formulations are extraordinary. They have many ranges targeting various skin problems, but as someone who suffered from acne for years and even now finds my skin moody, I am particularly in love with the Normaderm range. Lightweight Daily Care Moisturizer absorbs well, doesn’t clog pores and leaves you with a glow, multi-focussed. It is infused with salicylic acid that attacks bacteria and exfoliates the skin, but also includes replenishing ingredients to stimulate hydration. And, my God, it works. Normaderm is, for all intents and purposes, an anti-blemish range, but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s only for teens. Thanks to the impact of modern tensions, environmental aggressors, and wearing masks, I’d say it has “adult” written all over it.
