GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Voters on Tuesday, Aug. 2, will decide a number of state, local and federal primaries, tax requests and more in the Grand Rapids area and across the state of Michigan.

For live-updated unofficial results Tuesday night of contested primaries in Kent and Ottawa counties, scroll below. Refresh this page for the most recent unofficial results as reported by Kent and Ottawa county election officials.

When a precinct is indicated as partially reporting, that means either all in-person votes or all absentee ballot votes are represented in the tally but not both.

A precinct is considered fully counted, or fully reporting, when all ballots, both in-person and absentee, are accounted for and represented in the tally.

Once all ballots are tallied and the race has been called, the winning position will be shown in bold.

Polls close Tuesday at 8 p.m. and results will be updated below as they become available:
