Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace result: Jurgen Klopp’s side seal first preseason win in Singapore

Liverpool have bounced back from their 4-0 defeat to Manchester United in Bangkok to edge out Crystal Palace with a 2-0 win in Singapore.

Jurgen Klopp’s side secured their first pre-season victory as he and Patrick Vieira used a total of 52 players across the 90 minutes.

Skipper Jordan Henderson got the ball rolling early on, with a neat finish from Harvey Elliott’s lay off, before substitute Mo Salah swerved home to double the Reds’ advantage just after the break.

Liverpool could have added to their lead late on, as Klopp’s charges now return to Europe to face RB Leipzig next week, with Vieira’s Palace heading off to Australia, to continue their preparations for 2022/23.
