Mexican airlines: Viva Aerobus, Volaris and Interjet, among the worst in the world; all three operate in the US.

Viva Aerobus, Volaris and Interjet, the three Mexican airlines that offer flights between Mexico and the United StatesAmong many other destinations, they were rated among the 10 worst in the world, published Merca2.0.

According to the information, the airlines were rated by users in a study carried out by the Bounce Baggage Storage Service, to know the worst airlines nationally and internationally, which add complaints and complaints from consumers both in social networks and in mediation and investigation folders of the Federal Consumer Prosecutor’s Office (Profeco).

The analysis was not carried out only with national data, since the Bounce Baggage Storage Service considered various experiences of international travelers to launch the list.

The study analyzed the customer complaints, seating comfort, inflight entertainment of the plane, the quality of the food and the baggage rules of each company.

“We all know how frustrating it can be to find yourself stuck in a crowded cabin, no WiFi or waiting in the departure lounge for hours without a plane in sight“Said the authors of the survey. “That is why we have analyzed the experiences of the passengers, as well as the punctuality of each airline and the maximum baggage allowance they offer to passengers to see which airline leaves customers smiling.”

The Bounce Luggage Storage Service also analyzed the advertising impact of the brands, the planes they use and the operating measures for users and workers.

The analysis showed that the worst airline in the world is Viva Air, a low cost from Colombia that had the worst ratings in all the evaluated criteria, while the Portuguese TAP stood out for being the one that obtained the most number of complaints during a period of six months, with 1,430 reports.

The irish Ryanair came in fourth place and the British low cost easyJet in the seventh for not offering free hand luggage in the cabin. While both were highly rated for their customer service, seating comfort, and optimal food, the lack of onboard entertainment and luggage made them stand out on the list.

The study revealed three Mexican air lines that operate in the United States: Viva Aerobus, Volaris and Interjet, which ranked 2nd, 3rd and 5th out of 71 airlines evaluated.

Viva Aerobus obtained a score of 3 out of 10. In entertainment, comfort and quality in food it had 1 out of 5, while the personal service obtained 2 out of 5.

Volaris obtained 4 out of 10 points, with 1 in entertainment and 2 in food, comfort on board and personal service. The brand also has 379 complaints.

Interjet, a company that is in financial trouble and now plansto return again, achieved 490 complaints and one point for inflight entertainment.

The most common complaints from travelers concern the lack or low quality of internet connection, saturation of planes and long waits to board or take off.
