Mychelle Johnson, wife of former Michigan State basketball standout and current Charlotte Hornets player Miles Bridges, shared a series of photos Friday on social media taken after his alleged assault against her.

According to multiple reports, Bridges was arrested Wednesday in Los Angeles for a physical altercation that happened Tuesday. ESPN reported that he was charged with felony domestic abuse and is due back in court July 20.

Bridges, a 24-year-old NBA standout who attended michigan state for two years and is a Flint native, posted $130,000 bond Wednesday, the LA district attorney’s office confirmed to USA TODAY Sports.

Johnson’s photos, shared on social media, show what appear to be notes from a medical examination and her allegations of what happened.

“I hate that it has come to this but I can’t be silent anymore,” Johnson’s post read. “I’ve allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in every way possible and traumatize our kids for life.

“I have nothing to prove to the world, but I won’t allow anyone who could do something so horrible to have no remorse and paint a picture of something I’m not.”

The pictures show a swollen lip and nose, discolored hands, a swollen wrist, bruises on her ear, arm, back and cuts on her leg. On one page of her discharge papers from the emergency department, a series of injuries were listed for her diagnosis of her.

“Adult victim of physical abuse by male partner; assault by strangulation; brain concussion; closed fracture of nasal bone; contusion of rib; multiple bruises; strain of neck muscle,” the document reads.

The Hornets released a statement Thursday saying they are gathering more information and have no comment.

Johnson, in her post, wrote she will no longer be silenced or let those around “him” continue to lie and protect “this person.”

“It’s unethical, it’s immoral, it’s truly SICK,” her post continued. “It hurts my heart because I’ve always had hope, and so much love and as scary as this is for me to do it’s time I stand up for myself.”

Johnson claimed the incident happened in front of the couple’s young children.

“I don’t need sympathy, I just don’t want this happening to anyone else, I just want this person to get help, my kids deserve better,” she wrote. “It hurts, everything hurts, this situation hurts, most importantly I’m scared and hurting for my kids who were witness to everything.”
