The Bears host the Vikings in the installment of week 15 of Monday Night Football. Minnesota is still looking for a playoff spot and will need a win to keep those hopes alive. A Vikings win is what Las Vegas stores are waiting for. DraftKings Sportsbook have installed the Vikings as 6.5-point favorites and set the total at 45.0 points. Because Vegas expects the Bears to catch up, we’re loading their boom-or-bust receivers into our DraftKings Showdown lineups as we take one of the safest DFS plays in the league.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Vikings vs. Bears

$ 50,000 budget, at least one player from each team is needed.

Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary) RB Dalvin Cook, Vikings ($ 17,700)

Cook is fresh off his best performances of the season, a 38.2-point DK rash against the Steelers. To add a cherry to things, he had an extra three days off. In this case, appointing Cook as our “Captain” does not require deep scrutiny.

FLEX RB David Montgomery, Bears ($ 9,000)

Montgomery continues to handle significant volume and has been busy on the ground and in the air. He’s the Bear most likely to score big – he has DK performances of 21.8, 25.6 and 28.1 points this season, and we’re betting he will serve as Chicago’s offensive centerpiece on Monday night.

FLEX WR Darnell Mooney, Bears ($ 7,400)

Mooney has struggled lately, but is just two weeks away from a three-game streak in which he eclipsed more than 20 DK points. The Bears’ new No. 1 receiver is likely to see the goals it takes to make some welcome plays and deliver another solid performance.

FLEX WR KJ Osborn, Vikings ($ 5,800)

Osborn has admirably replaced Adam Thielen (ankle), scoring double-digit DK points in consecutive contests. He’s been awarded 16 goals in those two games, and he’s likely in store for another big slice of the pie in this favorable showdown.

FLEX WR Jakeem Grant, Bears ($ 5,000)

Grant surprised us with a special teams touchdown last week, showing his great edge and versatility at the same time. We don’t expect that bolt to strike twice, but we still like that it can score points in a number of ways.

FLEX WR Damiere Byrd, Bears ($ 4,600)

Byrd made the most of both of his goals last week, catching both and taking one for a 58-yard touchdown. With Allen Robinson (COVID) and Marquise Goodwin (foot) in serious doubt for the contest, Byrd could see another five to seven goals and have a chance to make a big play or two.
