Myles Garrett’s Graveyard Explained: Here Are the NFL’s Most Captured QBs by Browns Pass Rushers

Kyler Murray wasn’t happy to learn that his name was in the cemetery.

No, not the actual cemetery, but the one in the front yard of Myles Garrett’s house. The Browns defensive lineman has laid gravestones for all the quarterbacks he knocked down this season, as well as a few he hoped to catch up with.

At graveyard time, Garrett and the Browns still had to play the Cardinals.

“Why do you have me in the cemetery, dog?” Murray asked Garrett.

“I need more motivation,” Garrett replied.

“At least the mind didn’t have a ‘RIP’ on it,” Murray said.

But late in the game, Garrett added a Murray sack to his now NFL-leading 8.0 sacks.

What is the origin of the spooky Garrett Cemetery? And which quarterbacks should have the biggest plots out there? SN dives.

Why does Myles Garrett have a cemetery in his front yard?

Photos from Cleveland.com It showed that there are some quarterbacks in the plot. There’s Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Murray, Mac Jones, Joe Burrow, Justin Fields, and Ben Roethlisberger.

Speaking to the media, Garrett explained that he, his family and friends decided it would be something fun for Halloween.

“I’m kind of a troll, and the people in my house like to have fun,” Garrett explained in a Cleveland.com video.

Garrett said that neither he nor his father did the painting on the tombstones, but instead sent it to someone to do it. Garrett said his neighbors, family and friends have enjoyed the result of the installation.

The cemetery had drawn more attention to Garrett’s house, and not all of it has been welcomed. Garrett said her driveway was blocked and people had just arrived at the house to see her.

“I didn’t think people would invade my privacy like that, but they are there,” Garrett said. “It is strange that people come to my house. I wish they could leave me because that is my place of refuge and residence, and I do not like people to pass simply for whatever reason.”

Come on people. If you want to see Garrett’s royal graveyard, you just have to see his opponents’ backfield at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Which quarterbacks has Garrett sacked the most?

Garrett has been a true terror to NFL quarterbacks since his first season in the league in 2017.

He had seven sacks in his rookie year and has posted double-digit totals in every season since then, with the most in 2018 when he posted 13.5.

Garrett didn’t put up headstones for every quarterback he knocked down, that would require 32 headstones, according to Stathead.

But if you gave each quarterback adequate plot space based on how much you’ve eliminated them, there are certainly some that would take up more space than others.
