Newton College, along with 10 private schools in Spain, is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), one of the main educational groups worldwide.
On this occasion, ISP has organized its first Virtual University Fair, open and free, for students in the final years of Secondary and Baccalaureate, as well as for their families.
The event seeks to be a meeting between students, both from their own schools and from others, with Spanish and foreign universities that will present their university degree programs in a “webinar” (virtual chat) format of 20 minutes each.
Attendees will be able to access with their personal devices and participate in the webinars, while interacting with the Universities via chat.
“Laude Newton College aims to support and guide our students in their current and future educational process, helping them develop an international mindset through innovative learning. In this sense, guiding them to decide on their university degree and future higher level educational center is part of that process. With this virtual University Fair we have wanted to provide the opportunity not only to our students, but also to any student from another school or institute, and their families, so that they can participate in this event, accessing for free from their own school, home or office. Although we are part of a group of private schools, we want to contribute to the common good in educational matters through initiatives open to all the public ”.
The event will take place on Thursday March 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and in order to participate, those interested only have to register in https://openday.colegioslaude.com/university-fair/
The sessions will be carried out through ZOOM.
Some of the participating universities are: IE University, Durham University, University of Warwick, Geneva Business School, Universidad Pontificia Comillas, ESADE, CEU San Pablo de Valencia, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Marangoni, ESIC, University of Surrey, EU Business School, The College for International Studies, ISDE, CUNEF, Glion Institute of Higher Education, Ecole Ducasse, FTEJerez, Les Roches, Francisco de Vitoria University …
Students or parents who cannot attend that day will have the opportunity to register in advance to receive recordings of the webinars that are of interest to them.
