Let’s take an early look at several of the biggest games that have attracted significant betting attention, resulting in notable line moves on the weekend’s roster.
NFL Week 8 games ‘on the go’
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills
- Money line: Miami (+600) | Buffalo (-900)
- Spread: MIA +13.5 (-110) | BUF -13.5 (-110)
- Total: 50.5– More: (-110) | Sub: 50.5 (-110)
- Game information: October 31, 2021 | 1 pm ET | CBS
Bettors are investing heavily that Josh Allen will have no problem with a Dolphins team that has lost six straight games.
This game opened on early bets in August with the Bills as 7-point favorites, but has since been set to Miami as a 13.5-point road underdog in Sports betting YES.
The Bills, coming off the break, are looking to bounce back after being teased in Week 6 by the Titans. Buffalo shut out the Dolphins, 35-0, as a 3.5-point favorite in Week 2. Buffalo has the best passing defense in the league (180.5 yards per game) and should easily shut out Miami’s 24th passing offense ( 227.4 yards per game).
Bettors are investing that Buffalo, which has beaten Miami six times in a row, will have no trouble extending its dominance to seven against the Bills Mafia.

We’ve witnessed a dominant shift in favorites that involved the Bengals in Week 8 heading into New Jersey to face a Jets squad that will be without starting rookie quarterback Zach Wilson (knee).
New York, which ranks last in points scored (13.3 points per game), has a 1-5 start direct (SU) and ATS.
This game opened with New York as a 1-point favorite in early betting, but has since moved substantially to the Bengals as a 10.5-point road favorite in Sports betting YES. The pro money is betting that Cincinnati, who is 3-1 ATS on the road this season, will easily dominate backup quarterback Mike Smith in his first career start.
All bettors should note that professional money quietly backs the Bengals in the first quarter (-2.5) and first half (-6), based on the fact that the Jets have been outscored 44-0 in the first fourth and 106-20 in the first half of this season’s games.

The Chargers, returning from their bye week, are looking to bounce back after their worst loss of the season in Week 6 in Baltimore.
Bookmakers have witnessed strong momentum in Justin Herbert and Los Angeles in Sports betting YES. The Chargers’ line move as a 2.5-point home favorite has moved through the main betting numbers of three and four and now shows Los Angeles as a 5-point home favorite.
The Chargers have the fourth-best passing defense (201.8 passing yards per game) and will face rookie quarterback Mac Jones. He has thrown multiple touchdowns in three of his last four games.
Herbert, who has a 7: 0 touchdown-to-interception ratio in his last two home games, faces a Patriots defense that allows the sixth fewest points per game (20.0).
Bettors are fading a New England club whose two road wins over the Jets and Texans don’t garner much respect, as the two are 2-11 combined (.182). The Patriots are also just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games.

Sunday Night Football offers a quality NFC showdown between Dallas and Minnesota.
The Cowboys, returning from their Week 7 break, are hoping to have star quarterback Dak Prescott (calf) in center. Dallas has the second-best rushing offense in the league (164.3 rushing yards per game) and, if Prescott is limited, the Cowboys will likely lean heavily on the rushing attack, led by star running back Ekeziel Elliott.
Dallas has been a source of income for punters in 2021, with the only perfect ATS mark (6-0) in Sports betting YES. Bettors are betting the Cowboys will extend their ATS streak to seven straight games against a Vikings team that hasn’t beaten a team with a winning record this season. Minnesota has lost to the Cardinals, Bengals and Browns, while defeating the Seahawks, Lions and Panthers, who are 5-16 (.313) combined.
