The Department of Security of the Alicante City Council has reported that the first day of the closure of the hotel and restaurant sector, decreed by the Generalitat Valenciana to 17 hours, passed without incident and with the maximum collaboration of the establishments. The agents traveled through sectors on patrols and on foot throughout the city and verified that the terraces were vacated and the premises closed without any complaint.

The Councilor for Security, José Ramón González, to thank “all the citizens who yesterday complied with the advance of the curfew on this first night established at 10 pm, and which passed with total normality and without incidents”, while highlighting “the maximum collaboration of our establishments of hotels that were closed even before 5:00 p.m. in some areas of the city ”.

The Alicante City Council deployed a broad operation yesterday evening to protect and carry out comply with the decreed measures, intensifying surveillance on foot in the main areas of agglomeration of people, shops and leisure sectors. Also from eight at night and until six in the morning, the Local Police have closed all the parks in the municipality of Alicante.

Regarding noise, the Local Police have had to go to attend and dissolve parties in homes with complaints, which have resulted in complaints to the owners of the homes where the meetings were held, causing annoyances in the streets of Jazmín, Afrodita and Inclán Valley.
