Officially we already welcome December and this month brings with it various television productions that you surely do not want to miss. Streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max and Disney Plus They plan to culminate this 2021 with an immense catalog full of films, television programs, documentaries and new seasons of various series that revolutionized the entertainment industry.
In this article I will tell you a list of all those series or movies that will be released in these Christmas festivities so that you can have a good time watching your favorite shows.
1) Cobra Kai
Since its first season premiered on May 2, 2018, Cobra Kai has become a massive phenomenon within the Netlix catalog, and because of that with its fourth installment it is getting closer and closer, which will premiere on December 31. December. This series is set 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament in the first ‘The Karate Kid’ movie.
In this fourth season Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence must work together with their Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos to defeat the Cobra Kai dojo in the All Valley tournament for under 18s, a group that follows the orders of the malevolent trainer John Kreese and his talented student Terry Silver.
2) The Witcher
After being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the second season of The Witcher will finally be able to premiere on the Netflix streaming service on December 17.
As in his first installment, Henry Cavill will once again play the famous monster hunter Geralt of Rivia in the famous series full of fantasy and will again have to protect Princess Cirilla (played by Freya Allen) from the creepy creatures that are in the dangerous mystical forests.
3) Emily in Paris
Lily Collins won the love of loyal Netflix subscribers with her portrayal of Emily Cooper in the famous comedy series ‘Emily in Paris’, a television production that was the most watched on the platform during its premiere in 2020. Don’t Look Up will premiere on Netflix on December 24.
5) The power of the dog
Netflix premiered this Wednesday, December 1, the movie ‘The Power of the Dog’, the western film directed by Oscar winner Jane Campion. This film has the performances of Benedict Cumberbatch, Kristen Dunst, Jesse Plemons and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
‘The power of the dog’ follows the story of a tormented rancher who martyrizes the new wife of his brother, who is already a teenager and loves his partner madly. Due to his greed and drive to dominate beings that are considered weak, Phil (character played by Benedict Cumberbatch) launches a campaign to destroy his brother’s new wife and also her son.
6) The Matrix Resurrections
The Matrix franchise is one of the acclaimed by viewers who participated in the resurgence of this saga that revolutionized the science fiction genre as we know it. Finally, said franchise can say goodbye in style with the premiere of its fourth installment. ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ will see its premiere on the HBO Max platform on December 22, 31 days after it is released on the big screen.

7) And Just Like That
The long-awaited reboot of the renowned series ‘Sex and the City’ will premiere on December 9 on HBO Max and the emotions of the fans did not wait. After more than a decade without seeing them, Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York will meet again in the acclaimed city of New York as they navigate through the life of their fifties and the three protagonists will have to adapt to that new stage as of place.
8) Being the Ricardos
Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman will be the star faces of the biopic about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in ‘Being the Ricardos’. In this film the couple will focus on the rise of their romance and the great successes they reaped behind the scenes, as both celebrities were the ones who revolutionized a deeper look through the sitcom ‘I Love Lucy’.

9) Boba Fett’s book
The final television show in the Star Wars franchise, shown in the ending credits sequence of the season two finale of “The Mandalorian,” follows the legendary bounty hunter as he navigates the galaxy’s underworld and claims the territory he it was once ruled by Jabba the Hutt. ‘The Boba Fett Book’ will premiere on the Disney + platform on December 29.
10) Welcome to Earth
This documentary series will star Will Smith, where he will narrate all his experiences when undertaking a trip around the world to discover the most extraordinary and inexplicable phenomena of nature. ‘Welcome to Earth will premiere on December 8 on Disney +.
