The incidence soars 42 points and approaches 300 cases
Spain borders on high risk in the sixth wave of the pandemic reaching 290 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, with a rise of 42 points in the transmission since Friday and 43,808 new infections (10,952 each day), a situation that continues to push the average occupancy in the intensive units (10,2 %).
According to Health data, with the new covid traffic light approved a couple of weeks ago, Spain is close to high risk (300 to 500 cases); while the transmission in the Basque Country (881) and Navarra (712), the two with the highest incidence and at extreme risk when exceeding 500, it once again experienced a strong rise, specifically 115 and 178 points, respectively.
