PJ Masten Claims Playboy Clubs Covered Up Abuse | Entertainment

PJ Masten has claimed that “40 to 50 young women” were “silenced” by Playboy after making allegations of abuse.

The former Bunny Mother, who worked in six Playboy Clubs in the US from 1972 to 1982, claimed the late Hugh Hefner was determined not to have any “heat” with him or have the iconic brand investigated by police, so measures were taken to ensure the ladies did not speak publicly.

PJ said: “In the 10 years that I worked for Playboy, I would venture to say that there were probably 40 to 50 young women who were silenced by Playboy for abuse, sexual abuse… It was a big thing for Hefner to not have that guy in the heat, he didn’t want the LAPD to get on top of him.

PJ also spoke of his “guilt” that two sisters were allegedly locked up and violently sexually assaulted at the home of the late ‘Soul Train’ host Don Cornelius.

She said of the latest installment of ‘Secrets of Playboy’: “It was probably the most horrible story I’ve ever heard in Playboy. This story is the story of a massive cleanup that never made it to the press.”

She recounted how Don was a Playboy VIP and familiar to the women and, at a dance bar in Hollywood, he saw them and invited them to join him before inviting them back to his house for a party.

She continued: “These two young women got into their Rolls-Royce, went up to their house and we didn’t hear from them for three days. We couldn’t find out where they were.”

After three days, the sisters, whom he did not name, were found when one of them called Bunny Mother at the Playboy Mansion and told them they had been held at Don’s house. Security chief Joe Piastro came out to pick them up and found them “bloody, battered.” [and] drugged”.

She alleged: “One was locked in one room and the other was in another room. They were tied and tied, and the sister could hear her screaming. There were wooden objects that you were sodomized with and she could hear the other sister of hers being brutalized.”

In keeping with Playboy policy, the police were not notified and the bunnies were advised not to speak about their alleged ordeal.

PJ said, “What was so shocking to me, that made me so angry, was that no charges were filed and Don Cornelius’ privileges as number one VIP were never suspended. He was back at the club the following week.”

“These young women, what they went through, no one has a clue. My job was to pick up the pieces. I had to pick up the pieces from these kids. They were kids!”

“I blame myself so much, I have so much guilt that I didn’t show up, but I knew the establishment wouldn’t let me show up. And who’s going to believe me? No one is going to believe me.”

Don’s son, Tony Cornelius, told People magazine that PJ’s account is an “incredible story with no real evidence” and “lewd”.

Following Monday’s (31.01.21) episode of Secrets of Playboy, a disclaimer appeared on screen reminding viewers that “the vast majority of allegations” made in docuseries “have not been investigated or charged.” penalties, and do not constitute proof of guilt.
