The Cardinals and Rams meet for the third time this season, but this time, it will be a win or go home playoff situation on Monday night. The Rams side of things has plenty of DFS options with great potential, and we’re going with the Rams attack in our DraftKings tournament lineup. Cooper Kupp will be the most popular captain’s pick, and for good reason, but we’re going elsewhere to differentiate our picks at GPP tournaments.
These are the important settings for single-game DraftKings contests: Full point PPR, and here they are three-point bonuses for 300 air yards, 100 rushing yards, Y 100 yards receiving. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times the player’s original price, but also gets their total points multiplied by 1.5.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Cardinals vs. Rams
$ 50,000 budget, at least one player from each team is needed.
Captain: (1.5x salary, 1.5x points): WR Van Jefferson, Rams ($ 7,800)
There probably won’t be many teams with Jefferson as captain, but realistically he could be the top scorer. He’s still flying under the radar at DFS and in real life, so with all the attention on Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr., the hope here is that Jefferson will loosen up on some deep shots against the Arizona secondary that allows the fourth largest amount of DK. points to WR. It has the same advantage as OBJ and is around $ 2,500 cheaper.
FLEXIBLE: QB Matthew Stafford, Rams ($ 10,800)
Stafford may be running out of opportunities to show he can get things done in the big games, so we’re confident he’ll finally break through with an explosive day, winning the first “W” of his career in the playoffs. He reached at least 20.3 DK points in both meetings with Arizona and threw five touchdowns to just one interception in those games.
FLEXIBLE: WR Cooper Kupp, Rams ($ 13,000)
We’re not fading Kupp entirely because it’s hard to think that the winning lineup won’t have him in it. Selecting Jefferson’s captain as part of the Stafford-Kupp-Jefferson stack gives us feasibility with a little creativity. Kupp’s resume for 2021 speaks for itself.
FLEXIBLE: TE Zach Ertz, Cardinals ($ 6,200)
Ertz has reached double-digit DK points in each of his last four games, without scoring a touchdown. He caught at least six passes and averaged more than 10 goals per game during that span. Los Angeles is just a middle defense against tight ends, so we’re hoping Ertz’s production is there, and a touchdown could get him knocking the 20-point door.
FLEX: RB Chase Edmonds, Cardinals ($ 5,000)
Edmonds (ribs, toes) is expected to play, and is a perfect value choice for the full PPR score. His salary is extremely generous given his potential, even with James Conner back in the lineup. You should see double-digit carries and five or more targets, so some explosive plays would make it a viable DFS play.
FLEX: Los Angeles Rams D / ST ($ 3,800)
Against the Cardinals’ powerful offense, this shouldn’t be a difficult pick. However, we have a strong defensive surge from the Rams against a hot and cold Kyler Murray. The offense hasn’t been the same without DeAndre Hopkins and between interceptions, fumbles and sacks, he’s given up a lot of fantasy points lately to the D / ST. Doesn’t that feel like a classic venue for a classic Aaron Donald performance?
