FanDuel Single Game DFS Picks: Steelers vs. Chiefs

MVP: (1.5x points): WR Tyreek Hill, Chiefs ($ 13,500)

Hill has averaged fewer than 10 FD points per game in his last three contests (came out early in Week 18) and is dealing with a heel injury. This means that we can do one of two things: fade it or duplicate it. We’re going to be aggressive with him at our MVP spot, injury concerns should keep much of the field away. Pittsburgh is strong against the TE but generous against the WR, so we’re relying on a classic Hill blast to get the Chiefs off to a start in the playoffs. .

FLEXIBILITY: TE Pat Freiermuth, Steelers ($ 8,500)

Freiermuth was out in the first meeting against Kansas City with a concussion, and Big Ben fuels him with a lot of volume. Freiermuth is tied for first among tight ends in red zone goals (20), and whether he scores in trash time or early in the game, those fantasy points count the same way.

The Steelers are already a pass-first offense, and with Kansas City on the other side of the ball, they expect Big Ben to throw more than 50 passes in an effort to keep his career alive for another week. FLEX: WR Byron Pringle, Chiefs ($ 8,000)

The last time these teams met, Pringle scored 22.5 FD points on a day of two touchdowns and 75 yards. Travis Kelce was out of action on the reserve / COVID roster so it certainly helped, but we’ll take Pringle as a DFS dart throw as he obviously presents a matchup problem for the Steelers.
