The tablet sector seems to be experiencing a new dawn. Manufacturers such as Xiaomi or realme are launching several proposals in this sectorbeing the realme Pad Mini 4G the latest device to arrive from one of these companies.
Being a tablet with the last name mini, what happens is that It has a much smaller size than its older sister, the Realme Pad.but the reduced size is not the only difference between both models.
In fact, the curious thing is that this tablet comes with reduced specifications and with a commitment to 4G connectivity. We are going to see in detail the characteristics with which this tablet arrives and, above all, if it is worth it.

The screen that integrates this new tablet is 8.7 inches with HD + resolution or 1,340 x 800 pixels so it stays below the 2,000 x 1,200 pixels of the realme Pad. In terms of panel technology, we are dealing with LCD, so it remains the same.
The processor chosen by realme for its Pad Mini is the Unisoc T616, while the realme Pad mounts the MediaTek Helio G80. RAM and storage configurations are 2 GB with 32 GB and 4 GB and 64 GB, being expandable up to 1 TB via MicroSD.
Being a more compact tablet, the battery is smaller and is 6,400 mAh in the realme Pad Mini 4G and 7,100 mAh in the realme Pad. Fast charging remains at 18W for both tablets, but the realme Pad Mini has reverse charging.
Connectivity is practically the same, although the Pad Mini is always 4G. While in the realme Pad there is a version with 4G and another without this connectivity. The speakers of the realme Pad are compatible with Dolby Atmos and the ones of the Pad Mini are not.
Price and availability
Having seen the specifications of both tablets, it is time to talk about the price and here what happens is that, while the realme Pad is already available in our country and, in fact, we have tested it. The realme Pad Mini is still abroad.
It is still unknown if it will officially reach our borders, although to get an idea. The prices that will be lowered at the conversion level would be the following: 175 euros for the model with 3 GB and 32 GB, while the 4 GB and 64 GB would amount to 210 euros.
