Samsung Electronics has presented its new Micro LED technology at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2022 fair in Barcelona, with three new models of The Wall: 146-inch 4K, 146-inch 2K and 110-inch 2K.
At this year’s ISE fair, Samsung has unveiled its 2022 model of The Wall (IWB)a modular Micro LED screen that offers immersive viewing experiences in a large format in high resolution.
The IWB will be available in 0.63 and 0.94 pixel sizes, with the 0.63 pixel size being the thinnest in The Wall range. And the new display is now available for pre-order worldwide.
IWB shows Samsung’s most detailed image to date and an expansion of dynamic range with 120Hz frame rate on screenHDR10/10+ and LED HDR.
After its installation, The Wall offers a variety of screen sizes, for example for 110-inch 4K movies and up to 220-inch 8K quality; in order to satisfy any need of consumers and companies.
This resolving power is further enhanced by the Micro AI processor that analyzes every second of content instantly and optimizes image quality while removing noise.
The Wall also includes the latest technology in the industry. Firstly, with the Multi View function, it allows simultaneous playback of up to four sources on a single screen.without the need for any additional splitter for displaying dynamic content.
Second, the screen’s built-in Black Seal technology creates a seamless canvas for purer black levels.with an ultra-low reflection film that has been applied to minimize the reflection of external light.
Additionally, with 20-bit processing, The Wall offers high image quality by today’s standards and a smooth viewing experience. with a maximum of 2,000 nits of light that provides clearer images even in natural light.
This year The Wall All-in-One (IAB) has also been presented, available in three different versions: 146-inch 4K, 146-inch 2K and 110-inch 2K.
The standard resolution of The Wall All-in-One is in 16:9 format, it will only be sold online and will be available worldwide after the ISE show.
The most innovative feature of The Wall All-in-One is its convenient installation, featuring a pre-fitted joint and “pre-assembled frame kit”. This kit makes the process as easy as a consumer TV.
The Wall All-in-One offers a minimalist design with a slim screen of just 49mm, which in total is 59mm when measured from wall to screen.
Besides, Two 146-inch 4K displays can be installed side by side to create a 32:9 aspect ratio with a detachable function that creates an entire wall with excellent image quality.
Together with Micro LED technology, Samsung has presented new products at ISE that will cover new display needs: contactless communication and security improvements.
Samsung’s latest 2022 outdoor range (OHA 55”, 75”) has been verified for outdoor visibility by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Its composition allows easy installation and long-term performance thanks to the certified protection with IP56 category.
With durable hardware, OHA can work in multiple conditions. One of the use cases is that of electric vehicle charging stationsfor which demand is increasing as sales of electric vehicles continue to grow around the world.
