According to data from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), in some parts of the province such as Alcoy and Orihuela are expected to register peaks of even 40ºC starting this Friday.
Level 2 alert for extreme temperatures
The thermo-climatic zone No. 26, corresponding to the municipalities of Torremaçanes, Castalla, Tibi, Ibi and Onil, They present a high temperature level for today and tomorrow Saturday, according to the General Directorate of Public Health. Therefore, the population has been alerted to avoid greater evils.
