Fans react to Zaya Wade and her boyfriend’s pics

Many users can’t quite believe how fast Zaya has grown up. Here’s how a few of them reacted to her pictures…

What Dwayne and Gabrielle have said about raising a transgender daughter

Zaya publically came out as transgender in 2020.

Recently, in a chat with Buzzfeed, Gabrielle Union pointed out the importance of loving Zaya affectionately, boldly and publicly.

“It’s important for us to live and love out loud. We didn’t exactly understand why (supporting Zaya’s trans identity) was a thing because it’s like, we love all our kids out loud. But, it is a thing and a lot of people do need an example. (People) do need that (kind of) representation.”

Dwayne, on the other hand, candidly spoke about raising a trans daughter in 2021’s Instagram Live with Today contributor, Jill Martin.

“I do the same thing I would do in basketball,” the 40-year-old said. “I’m gonna get help, I’m gonna go work on me. So if I don’t know something in this life, especially when it comes from my children, then it’s my job to go and learn these things.”
