Simu Liu makes his red carpet debut with girlfriend Jade Bender at the 2022 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles
Just a month after they were spotted during a dinner outing, Simu Liu is making it red carpet official with his girlfriend, actress Jade Bender.
The 33-year-old Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star hit the red carpet with the Senior Year star at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Wednesday evening.
They were first spotted out on a dinner date in West Hollywood last month, though they did meet a few years earlier, posing at the 2019 Unforgettable Gala in nearby Beverly Hills.

Liu stepped out with a slightly-unbuttoned black dress shirt with a gold chain seen dangling from his neck.
The clean-shaven actor also wore a matching black coat with a watch peeking out of the left sleeve.
He completed his look with mirror-shined black dress shoes with no socks.

Bender stepped out in a sparkling and slightly-sheer off-shoulder mini-dress that hugged her curves and fell to her mid-thigh.
She accessorized with silver earrings and rings and completed her look with silver strappy heels.
It was revealed last month that the pair previously met back in 2019 while attending the 19th annual Unforgettable Gala in Beverly Hills.

Though he’s notoriously private about his love life, rumors swirled earlier this year that Simu was romantically linked to Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause.
He appeared beside the 40-year-old reality star on her hit Netflix series, where she helped him hunt down the perfect home in Los Angeles.
Simu’s cameo occurred in the fourth season of Selling Sunset, which premiered on the streaming service late last year.

Liu had his breakout role in last year’s Marvel adventure Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
He will next be seen in the Barbie movie alongside Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie, which recently wrapped filming.
He has also signed on to star in a Shang Chi sequel, and most recently he took part in the Celebrity Softball Game during MLB All-Star Week in Los Angeles.
