The Association of Tourist Apartments of the Costa Blanca (Stop), that of Bars, Restaurants and Cafes (Abreca), the cooperative of this same association (Cobreca), the Independent Association of Merchants of Benicorm (Aico), the Association of Leisure Venues and Dance Rooms (Ociobal) and Campings de Benidorm and Comarca are the six entities that have joined forces to launch tourist packages, especially focused on the low season, which include accommodation, restaurants and discounts on leisure and commerce.
More than 60 hoteliers from Abreca have already joined the initiative and the organization hopes to exceed one hundred.
The initiative was presented this Wednesday under the name of «Jappi Experience» and has a web portal (www.Jappi.es) through which the client can book their holidays with accommodation in tourist apartments, campsites or collaborating hotels and add bonuses to complete the stay with breakfast, half board or full board in the bars, cafes and restaurants associated with Abreca that join the project.
“The client makes the reservation directly at the partner accommodation”, but at the same time “can purchase vouchers redeemable at the hotel and catering establishments for breakfast, lunch or dinner,” explained the representative of the business groupAlexandre Mastropietro qUien added that “being a ‘Jappi’ customer, you will also have exclusive discounts on AICO shops, nightlife and excursions in Benidorm.”
The vacation packages will not begin to be marketed until next October, although the reservation website is operational from this Wednesday, in order to offer promotional content and raffles.
The promotional event that has taken place in the coastal city will be followed by a motorhome campaign to tour the Iberian Peninsula throughout the month of August promoting “the best holiday destination through a tourism model that is booming in Europe and Spain, andl motorhome camping ”.
The objective of business entities is to attract customers in low season, in order to increase turnover, offering complete vacation packages.
To date, more than 60 catering establishments de Abreca have confirmed their adherence to the project, and from the organization they hope to exceed one hundred.
Fratini has insisted that the objective is “to establish synergies to be able to increase our turnover” in the time that “we need it most, winter”, especially after going through “a very bad period”, such as the coronavirus pandemic. Employers are convinced, and have stated, that “together we are stronger”, hence the initiative.
During the presentation they also explained that “Jappi Experience” began to take shape more than ten years ago, although it never closed. However, the pandemic has united the sector on numerous occasions to demonstrate and demand their rights, moments in which they have also had the opportunity to continue talking about the issue and decide to “get it out of the box and put it into action.”
As they have stressed, although package reservations will not be available until October, from this Wednesday two free weekend stays for two people will be raffled among those who register on the website. The deadline ends in September.
Abreca and Cobreca already launched the initiative last year «Benidorm Resort» to try to attract tourism to the city and thus cope with winter. On that occasion, 250 regulated accommodations and more than fifty hotel establishments participated.
