Someone has created a mansion with their own Millennium Falcon. It can be yours for 15 million dollars

You can watch the Star Wars saga lying in bed with your laptop resting on your legs, lying on the sofa in your living room while watching a 32-inch screen hanging on the wall, or you can do it directly from one of the Falcon’s armchairs Millennial.

The first two options are available to almost everyone. For the third, more exclusiveyou must be the tenant of one of the mansions of the Golden Oak urbanization, in Florida.

The real estate company Sotheby’s International Realty announces on its website a huge mansion of 10,742 square feet – around 998 m2 – which among its stunning display of luxuries includes a large movie theater with a decoration inspired by the emblematic ship of Han Solo.

The replica is not one hundred percent exact —it is known that in the original Millennium Falcon neither Solo nor Chewbacca enjoyed a huge movie screen, soft black leather armchairs with cup holders for soft drinks and a small table to put the popcorn cans and the pizza boxes—; but of course it helps to enjoy the universe of George Lucas with another perspective.

In the photos shared by Sotheby’s International Realty, you can see how the room is decorated with windows that show the Death Star, X-Wing and TIE Fighter ships, among other references to the film, in addition to hundreds of stars. The room recreates the aesthetics of the ship, with controls and lights… And, of course, a huge screen that occupies much of the front.

If so, one of two. Either you have a generous savings account, with a bunch of trailing zeros, or you make a deal with the bank. The mansion, which in addition to its almost 1,000 square meters has 9.5 bathrooms (sic), seven parking spaces and as many bedrooms, costs $14.99 million, about 14.37 million euros. It’s money, yes. Much. But the mansion, almost a palace, has a few attractions as unusual as its movie theater.

In addition to the Millennium Falcon, it includes a personalized lamp with Swarovski crystals, Disney themed windows, a swimming pool with a waterfall, a hot tub, a guest house, a fireplace that imitates “Toothless”, the most charismatic character from ‘How to train your dragon. ‘… and —one more wink for moviegoers— another made of marble and inspired by Cinderella’s castle.

Why so many references to the Disney universe? Easy.

Golden Oak State —the exclusive urbanization in which the building stands— is a high-end residential community located within the Walt Disney World Resort, in Florida.

A unique place with an extra advantage to keep in mind: future tenants will have privileged access to the parks and the attraction of Walt Disney Resolt… only one neighbor in their area.
