Stillwater Regional Final channel, stream, game time

The Arkansas Razorbacks are on the road this weekend hoping to keep their season alive at the Stillwater (Okla.) Regional, hosted by the No. 7 overall seed Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Hogs are making their 33rd appearance in the NCAA Tournament and attending their first road Regional since 2015 when the Razorbacks won the Stillwater Regional on their way to a College World Series appearance.

GAME 1 vs. GRAND CANYON RECAP: The Razorbacks did not look like a team riding a four-game losing streak, and they wasted no time jumping out to a big lead. Cayden Wallace hit a pair of solo home runs in the game, the first of which put the Hogs up 1-0 in the first inning. Arkansas then broke things open with four runs on three hits in the second inning to chase Daniel Avitia, the WAC Pitcher of the Year, out of the game after recording just five outs.

senior pitcher Connor Noland displayed toughness as he tossed a gem on the mound for the Razorbacks. Noland battled through seven innings of work while allowing just one run on six hits and left six Antelope runners stranded to earn his sixth victory of the season.

GAME 2 vs. OKLAHOMA STATE RECAP: The Razorbacks fell behind 7-2 in the third inning but refused to go away. The Hogs continued to hang around before flipping the script with eight runs in the top of the eighth inning. Arkansas finished with 16 hits in the game and benefitted from 12 free passes (seven HBP, five walks) issued by Oklahoma State pitching, six of which came in the eighth inning. Oklahoma State’s starting pitcher Justin Campbell – who is viewed by many as a potential first-round pick in the upcoming MLB Draft – allowed five runs on seven hits in five innings of work.

Five Razorbacks (Michael Turner, Chris Lanzilli, Robert Moore, Jalen Battles, Peyton Stovall) recorded multiple hits, and the Hogs combined for seven home runs. Moore hit his seventh and eighth home runs of the year and drove in four runs. Turner also finished with four RBI and hit his eighth home run of the season, and Battles’ 10th homer of the year was a grand slam in the eighth to put the game out of reach. Lanzilli’s eighth home run on the season extended the lead to 19-12 in the top of the ninth.

The offensive explosion helped offset a tough day for the Arkansas pitching staff. Freshman starter Hagen Smith left the game after walking four hitters and recording just four outs. Evan Taylor – who has been one of the Hogs’ best arms all season – allowed four earned runs in one inning of work. Junior LHP Zack Morris helped settle things down by tossing three innings and striking out three while allowing a pair of runs. Razorback pitchers combined to walk 11 hitters in the game.
