The Bengals could already be better than they ever were with Marvin Lewis

Damn modernity and the age of instant response, who stole a fifth touchdown from Joe Burrow on Sunday in a pass that would have pushed his total for the day to more than 500 yards. With the game out of reach, he finally eclipsed the mark, and his 525 yards give him the fourth-highest total in a single game in NFL history, behind only Norm Van Brocklin, Warren Moon and Matt Schaub. While the performance was already the most significant of Burrow’s professional career, the increasingly striking numbers would have added an air of appropriate decadence to an afternoon that taught us much about the Bengals.
