The southern coast of the province of Valencia is east Saturday in pre-emergency orange level and the north coast of Valencia and south of Castellón in yellow level by rains and storms that may be locally strong especially late in the day.

Saturday will be soaked especially on the coasts of Valencia and Castellón, according to a meteorological phenomena bulletin issued by the Generalitat Emergency Coordination Center. In the province of Alicante, the thermometers will reach a maximum of 20 degrees in the capital and in Dénia, 18º in Elche and 17º in Orihuela. The minimum temperatures, meanwhile, will oscillate between 9º in Alcoi and 15º in Alicante.

In general, the day will be marked by the cloudy or overcast skies, with probable morning mists and fog banks. They wait widespread rainfall, part in the form of a shower, which towards the end of the day will be occasionally accompanied by a storm.

As for the minimum temperatures, they will experience ascents, locally notable in the northern third, and the maximums will remain with little change or slight decrease.

For its part, the northeast wind will blow on the shoreline, which will decrease the second half of the day in the southern third, while in the rest the light wind from the east will be the protagonist.

In the province of Valencia, the mercury will climb to a maximum of 18º in Gandia and 17º in Valencia, and will be 14º in Ontinyent and 12º in Requena. The minimums in these locations will be 13th, 13th, 10th and 8th, respectively.

Specifically, in the province of Castellón, the maximum temperatures will record 17 degrees in Castelló de la Plana, 16 degrees in La Vall d’Uixó and 15 degrees in Vinaròs. For its part, the minimums will range between 6º in Morella and 13º in the capital.

For tomorrow, Sunday, cloudy or overcast skies are expected, tending to cloudy intervals in the southern half from noon, and rainfall, partly in the form of a shower and occasionally accompanied by a storm, without ruling out that they are locally strong on the coasts of Castellón and Valencia at the beginning.
