The judge orders that the murderer of Manuela Chavero reconstruct his crime on April 9

That morning, the accused will be released from prison and will return, accompanied by a judicial procession, to the key research scenarios: her house in Monesterio where Manuela lost her life on July 5, 2016 and the farm where buried his body naked and kept it hidden for more than four years, while the woman’s family and the whole town turned to look for her.

As with Diana Wants

Delgado will have to reproduce, step by step, in detail, what happened before, during and after the crime. It will do so, as ordered by the investigating court number 1 of Zafra (Badajoz), with the help of “an agent (of the Civil Guard) with similar physical characteristics to Manuela’s “, who will recreate the movements of the victim, similarly to how it was done, for example, in the reconstruction of the crime of Diana Quer, when José Enrique Abuín, The Chicle, had to repeat how he kidnapped and killed the young woman using a mannequin and a civil guard to simulate with them what he did with Diana.

The accused of ending the life of Manuela Chavero will also have during the reconstruction of the crime with “a vehicle, excavator or tractor such as that used to transport the body”, first by car, from his house to the farm where he hid it, four kilometers from the town. And once inside the plot, using a machine with which dug the pit.

The judge has agreed to this diligence, which Manuela’s family had requested through their lawyer Verónica Guerrero, to try to clarify the circumstances in which Manuela lost her life the night of her disappearance. Slim holds that woman fell backwards accidentally and hit the back of the neck during an argument they had at her house over the condition of an old crib that she had lent him some time ago. The autopsy of Manuela’s corpse, however, has revealed that, Before dying, the woman suffered the breakage of three ribs, two teeth and a bone in her nose, injuries that the defendant could not explain during his statement and that the Badajoz Institute of Legal Medicine has ruled out that they occurred post-mortem, during the maneuvers that the man carried out with a bulldozer to bury and hide Manuela’s body.

Delgado has also not given a convincing reason to explain why he undressed Manuela, with whom, according to the investigations, he wanted to have a relationship, while has denied that he sexually assaulted her. Nor has it clarified other circumstances about the state in which the woman’s body was recovered on September 18, a day after the Civil Guard detained it. When Delgado led investigators to the grave where Manuela Chavero’s body had been buried, the atlas bone was missing, the one that joins the spine with the head.
